 FIRST 100MPH ROLLS-ROYCE TO STAR AT GOODWOOD REVIVAL EARLS COURT MOTOR SHOW

The first 100mph Rolls-Royce, a 1911 ‘Experimental Speed Car’ known as 1701, will star at the Goodwood Revival ‘Earls Court Motor Show’ from 16-18 September 2011. The car will be accompanied by a new Phantom Drophead Coupé, hand built at the Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars a short distance from the Goodwood Motor Circuit.

Rolls Royce antiguos-Automóviles época Rolls RoyceThe car is currently undertaking a re-enactment of the 1911 London to Edinburgh Top Gear Trial, which cemented the Rolls-Royce reputation for superlative quality, refinement and reliability. 1701, wearing the registration R-1075, led a cavalcade of 17 historic Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts on the Trial, dating from 1911-1922.
